The Girls of Gaming sneak peak
I mentioned it before, but the newest issue of Playboy hit newsstands today. Which means that the Girls of Gaming is available for your perusal. But if you don't want to wait, joystiq has a sneak peak up on their site. The images have strategically placed ribbons to keep any naughty bits out of site, but I wouldn't take a look if the boss is around. Enjoy.

Is it a Nintendo or a computer?
I know what I want for my birthday! And I know you are going to want it too. But the good news is that you can make yourself one for practice and then make me one as a present. What am I blathering about you ask? It's just the coolest geek chic case mod I've ever seen. Check out the NES computer and tell me it isn't the coolest accessory for your apartment. (via Engadget)

Train Wreck
You guys suck. How come none of you told me about TRAINWRECK? Featuring Lee and KG from Tenacious D? It wasn't until my last posting when I went looking for some info on the D that I came across Train Wreck. At least Jack Black has me covered:
"If you like Tenacious D, you will LIKE Trainwreck." — Jack Black
I haven't had a chance to fully explore their site, but I did catch a portion of "Train Rock," which I wasn't terribly impressed with. But I'll give you my thoughts on the situation tomorrow. For the time being, have a gander.

Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter
The first testament says "an eye for an eye."
The second testament says "love thy neighbor."
The third testament… KICKS ASS!
You heard right, Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter is a low budget movie where Jesus comes back to kill some vampires and he gets a little help from Mexican wrestling hero El Santos. So, check out the website, listen to the theme song (Did Tenacious D do this song?) and check out the trailer. I show you the money. (via MetaFilter)

Seniors Rule
High school seniors are the coolest kids on the planet. Which is why I'm pleased to bring you the Senior Photo Collection: Volume 1. It's a collection of senior photos found lying around the Web and while some of them are pretty normal, there are definitely some gems in there. Take for example, number 8, number 12, or number 20. There are many others. Which one is your favorite? Is it this one?

Need a Color Scheme?
A color pallet
Holy color pallet, Batman, this is incredible. So, you can probably infer from the design of this blog that when it comes to design, I am not at the top of my game, but I just found something that is very useful. It's the Color Scheme Generator 2 and it makes any design challenge much easier. Just pick one color you like and it will do the rest. It's brilliant I tell you. So look forward to a new design soon. I'm thinking something along the lines of the colors above.

Sunday. Bloody Sunday
I can't think of too many things that Bush does well, but when you mix in some U2 and some incredible editing, he seems to sing pretty well. Don't believe me? Check out sunday bloody sunday over at AudoStreet and tell me if I'm not correct. This is, I think, one of the most fantastic efforts I have seen. I hope you like it too. (via waxy)

Ken Jennings Spoiler
So, I heard an interesting bit of info on the Web today. Ken Jennings eventually loses. Sorry I had to break that to you. Anyway, if you want more information, you can find it at kottke.org. But, like they say, it's not corroborated evidence. So there's no telling if it's true. But I believe it. Anyway, it's yours. (via waxy)

The Video Game Revolution
Set your TiVo for 9:00 tonight and tune into MPT for a PBS special titled, The Video Game Revolution. It's all about video games. From fad the phenomenon. They also have a pretty cool minisite with quizzes, information, and one little Galaxa type game. So, if you're into PBS or video games, check out the site and tune into the special. Also, for those of you who can't get enough retro games, check out, Atari hits gamers with blasts from past about the two new products Atari has in the works: 1) Atari Anthology, which will feature 85 games and is scheduled to go on sale in November at a cost of about $20; 2) the Atari Flashback, a slightly miniaturized version of the old Atari 7800 from the mid-'80s. It will have 20 games built into it and include a pair of old-school joysticks. It will sell for around $45. (Thanks Meghan)

Will Ferrell Makes me Laugh
So, I'm back, and to break the silence, I give you Will Ferrell's Apple Switch ad. It's pretty good as far as I'm concerned. It's a lot better than a parfait, I mean all you can do with that is eat it... and poop it out. So, enjoy it and stay tuned for more excitement.
