A Monday Quickie
Okay, it's almost 6:30 and I'm taking off, but not before I leave you with two little Mario nuggets of gold:
  1. The theme as played by some kid. Trust me, it's awesome. I'd have him play at my wedding. If you thought you knew the Super Mario Bros. theme song by heart, wait until you see this kid wail it out on the piano... And I'm not just talking the easy stuff. This kid's got the tubes, the fireworks, the warps, the whole thing. Sure, maybe he's a little awkward with the ladies, but with skills like this, who cares?
  2. 11 minutes is all it took this kid (or perhaps full grown man, who can say?) to beat Super Mario Bros. 3. I'm not kidding, it's one of the most athletic events Mario has ever performed. So pop some popcorn, and get ready to enjoy the speediest Mario thrill ride of your life.
And with that, I bid you good day!

Friday News
Oops, it's Friday and I didn't post yesterday. Well, I was too busy working and watching the Apprentice finale. Bill got hired. I would have picked Kwame. Regardless, it's over and I can move on... So in that spirit, Here's the news that's important to me. First off, Intel's list Most Unwired College Campuses was released:
Intel's "Most Unwired College Campuses" survey ranks the top 100 schools for wireless computing access. The survey reveals a growing number of schools across the country where students have the freedom to wirelessly access the Internet on notebook PCs - without a traditional wired connection - and stay connected and informed whether they're in the dorm room, library or outdoors at the campus quad.
The most wired college campus was Indiana University - Bloomington (Bloomington, Ind.). Davidson pulled up the rear in 81st place... Way to go Wildcats. I think we have one building on campus with wireless network access. Yee Haw! In other news, my favorite video game of all time is getting a new installment. That's right, Fallout III is being resurrected. This is even better news than you might assume, since a few months ago, Interplay shut down Black Isle Studios the department in charge of the franchise. I have no idea when it will be released, but I'm excited none-the-less. And, since I hate waiting, I've found a way to occupy myself in the here and now The Bush Shoot-Out. Take control of George W. and Dr. Rice as you defend the White House from invading forces... And don't forget to shoot-up the scenery. Enjoy!

Flash Dance
It's Wednesday, I just had lunch, and food coma is setting in... so, in order to pep myself up, I have a sure-fire flash animation lineup to get me back on track. First, I watch a little Exorcist performed by bunnies, then I get my techno window noises thumpin'. After this, I follow it up with some girl singing. At this point, the food coma begins to wear off, so then I reach for some icey cold Gator Lodge and before you know it, it's time to go to Kenya. Now I'm awake and it's back to the grind I go.
