Quick news
Well, exciting news in the world of video games. Today at the
E3 Expo, both Nintendo and Sony revealed their next generation handhelds. The E3 Expo (Electronic Entertainment Exposition), for those of you who don't know, is the world's leading interactive entertainment trade show. It comes around every year at this time, and all of the video game companies show off their new lines. It's like a video game fashion show, but with out the fashion. Anyway,
Nintendo unveiled their DS handheld (DS=Dual Screen). It looks pretty badass. It comes with bluetooth functionality, so you can link up with other people without the cords, plus one of the screens is touch sensitive and it comes with a stylus... maybe it'll pass as a PDA at work. I doubt it. But if that doesn't quite do it for you,
Sony unveiled their PSP (PlayStation Portable) as well. It looks pretty kick ass, with a processor almost as fast as the PS2. It also can play DVDs, CDs, and MP3s (It is supposed to get about 10hrs of gaming, 8hrs of music, and 2.5hrs of video). It's supposed to be Wi-Fi equipped and will have the ability to share data with your PS2. Pretty friggin' cool if you ask me. Anyway, that's the news from here.
