Movie Preview Friday
So, it's Friday and I'm done with the crazy DVDs. You can see them online tomorrow, if you know where to look, or you can buy a magazine, or maybe I'll post them, for your amusement, but I'm sure you're sick of them by now anyway. So in order to get back on track, here are two potentially very cool movies coming out this summer:
- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory—This movie, starring Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka looks pretty damn cool. The visuals are incredible, the music is awesome, and Johnny Depp looks creepy, weird, and awesome as the evil candy genius. I hope the film is as good as this trailer promises.
- War of the Worlds—Steven Spielberg directs this movie, which could be a good or a bad thing. Tom Cruise stars in it, which is definitely a bad thing. The good news is that he isn't in the trailer. But it looks like it good be a good summer blockbuster a la Independence Day if everything comes together. Anyway, enjoy the trailer and the weekend.
