MP3 4U 
So, you like music, but don't want to pay for MP3s and don't want to get busted for illegal downloading. Well, I've found a great place to get your MP3 fix. It's called MP3 4U and it's a site for Music Lovers, by Music Lovers, and it's free and legal. The concept is simple. People who love music, find legal downloads at radio station websites, record company websites, band websites, and other places around the Web. Then they put links to these MP3s on MP3 4U, so you don't have to spend the time looking. Just do a search, find the band you want, get some MP3s. You can also see what other bands the person who found the link has found and which other people share his taste in music (kinda like friendster, but not). Anyway, it's a cool idea and seems like it could use more investigating. Check it out. (via MetaFilter)
