Science Update
So, I've been gone, but there has been a lot of scientific advancement since my last post. There have been several really cool new video advancements to note. First, they've come up with a way to take
electronic paper to the
next level (unfortunately the
original article require you to log in, which I oppose). Secondly, those crazy Japanese engineers have develpoed digital video system producing images of such high quality that the human eye struggles to distinguish them from reality. It's called UHDV (
Ultra High Definition Video). Thirdly, and which I just heard about today, Applied Nanotech, Inc. has formed a team with a leading Japanese display component manufacturers to produce a
25 inch diagonal full color CNT TV prototype. As far as I can tell, this will make watching DVDs at home even better. That's the news for today.
